The Board is a trust formed by the most powerful men and women that make their homes and businesses on Chance. These individuals finance the station’s maintenance and advertising, as well as the Chance Security Force’s funds and armament. All are exceedingly wealthy and powerful individuals with their own private armies of thugs well-trained bodyguards and servants.

It is rumored that someone on The Board has knowledge of certain means to subvert the logic circuitry of robots.

Recent events on Chance have left The Board membership scattered, and their order replaced by that of The Council.
